“They treat the public with such patience and caring for them. I consider it an honour as an actor to have been given the chance to don the uniform on screen. “You [police officers] are the real heroes, we are the reel heroes,” the actor, who portrayed war hero Captain Vikram Batra in Shershaah, Kargil, added.

Director of the Indian Police Force Rohit Shetty, along with co-stars Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty, Aparna Purohit, Head of India & South East Asia Originals at Prime Video, and Country Director of Prime Video, India, Sushant Sriram, joined Malhotra on stage.

According to Rohit Shetty, the “real heroes” are not just the officers but also their families.”I am aware of the difficulties faced by police officers’ families. Until he retires, the officer and his family are continuously on duty. Frequently, the sacrifices made by the families go unnoticed. In order to help young people remember the heroic officers’ sacrifice, monuments like the National Police Memorial are crucial,” the director continued.

According to Shilpa Shetty, it is an honour for her to portray a “real-life hero” in her work.”Acting like a real hero is a whole different ballgame than just playing a role. She continued, “I’m glad that this series pays tribute to the Indian Police and that I have a little role in it.

Commissioner Arora, according to Vivek Oberoi, was a member of the police team assigned to participate in the rescue efforts following the 2004 tsunami that devastated south India. “I was assisting volunteers at Ground Zero. Sanjay ji, I was able to complete my assignment since you were present. Without our heroes in uniform, it is impossible to govern a nation,” he declared.

Commissioner Arora commended the “Indian Police Force” team for their accurate portrayal of police officers. “Police are portrayed as heroes, villains, and even comedians in Indian movies and television shows. “These days, plays and films have started depicting the police in a genuine manner with focus on their success rate, obstacles, contribution, failures, and dilemmas. However, no show or film would be complete without our presence. “I hope this series is a huge success,” stated the senior commander.

Ritu Arora announced that Smita, a school established for the special needs children of Delhi Police personnel, would receive the donation given by streamer Prime Video to the PFWS. The police officers and their families at the ceremony reacted angrily to the “Indian Police Force” trailer.

There was also an exclusive series montage with Shetty’s voiceover. On January 19, the series will be available for streaming on Prime Video. Artist Rahul Arya presented a live sand art piece at the ceremony, highlighting the difficulties that police officers confront.
