When the New Orleans Saints play the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football at So-Fi Stadium, they’ll be looking to make it three straight wins after defeating the New York Giants 24-6 at home in Week 15.
There is a lot riding on this game as both clubs are trying to gain ground in the postseason race. On Thursday Night Football, the Saints will also attempt to win away from home for the first time in four years. They will also try to win against the Rams on the road for the first time in fourteen years.

Chris Olave on Week 16 Thursday Night Football injury report for the Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams now have six players on their injury list ahead of TNF.
Due to a groyne injury, veteran offensive tackle Rob Havenstein was unable to play for the Rams against the Washington Commanders last weekend. However, as he was described as a complete participant in Tuesday’s walkthrough, his return is now expected.
Wide receiver Tutu Atwell was also sidelined for Week 15 due to a concussion he had suffered the week prior. He has already passed the concussion protocol, though, and it is expected that he will play again on Thursday.
The condition of Tutu Atwell’s injury for TNF
In a Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens, wide receiver Tutu Atwell was struck in the head along the sidelines while trying to catch a pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford.
The athlete returned to full practice participation on Friday, just before the Washington Commanders game, after spending the entire previous week in the concussion protocol. Before that game, though, he was unable to pass the procedure.
According to Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, the wide receiver has since cleared the concussion protocol and should be back in the starting lineup for Thursday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints.
Week 16 Thursday Night Football injury report for the New Orleans Saints

On Monday and Tuesday, the New Orleans Saints made public their injury report before of their pivotal Week 16 road game against the Los Angeles Rams.
On Tuesday’s injury report, defensive end Isaiah Foskey (quadricep), offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee), and cornerback Lonnie Johnson Jr. (knee) were all listed as doubtful to play on Thursday.
Head coach Dennis Allen stated that Johnson’s knee injury will likely prevent him from playing against the Rams and that it will require some time for him to heal.
Running back Kendre Miller (ankle) and wide receiver Chris Olave (ankle) were both listed as DNPs on New Orleans’ Monday report; however, on Tuesday, they were both upgraded to “limited participation.” The “limited” participation of defensive ends Cam Jordan (ankle), Carl Granderson (shoulder), and Payton Turner (toe) on Tuesday was also addressed.
The condition of Chris Olave’s injury for TNF:
Wide receiver Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints is running out of time to heal from an ankle injury he sustained two weeks ago in preparation for the team’s Week 16 clash against the Los Angeles Rams.
Olave’s status was listed as DNP on the Saints’ injury report on Monday; however, on Tuesday, it was changed to “limited in practice.”
Olave was considered a “game-time decision” for the Giants game, which he ultimately missed, even though he did not practise all week. There’s a lot of optimism about Olave’s availability for Week 16 play now that he was limited during Tuesday’s organised walkthrough in New Orleans.
Injury status of Cameron Jordan for TNF:
The New Orleans Saints’ outstanding defensive end Cameron Jordan was limited on Monday and Tuesday during the walkthrough practices due to an ankle injury.
The fact that he has been able to engage in limited ways over the past two days suggests that he may be ready to play on Thursday, even though the exact nature of his injury is still unknown. Ultimately, it is expected that he will be a choice taken during the game.
